Lung Cancer: Adjuvant Therapy

Adjuvant chemotherapy utilizing vinorelbine and cisplatin were administered to 482 patients with Stage one or Stage two non small cell lung cancer. The median overall survival was 94 months in the adjuvant group and for the surgery alone group 73 months. The five year survival was 69% adjuvant group and 54% percent for the surgery only group.
