Pancreatic Cancer: Colon: New Chemotherapy Combination Effective [p]

Three drugs, gemzar, taxatore and zometa when given in 2 week cycles have been found to produce significant responses in patients with advance pancreatic cancer. The median survival of patientswith metastatic disease given this combination was 10.5 months. The study was conducted by Dr. Robert. Fine of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. These finding were presented at the Chemotherapy Foundation symposium
