[p] Prostate Cancer: High dose radiation therapy useful in elderly pat

Men over the age of 80 were enrolled in a high dose external mean radiation therapy program with curative intent. The five year survival rate was found to be 61.6%. Of 33 men 13 were free of disease for 23 to 83 months with a median disease free survival of 47 months.
