Gastric Cancer: Adjuvant Treatment Effective

At a recent gastro-intestinal cancer symposium results of study, INT.-0116 was presented. In patients with gastric carcinoma radiation and chemotherapy improved survival. Chemotherapy consisted of 5 FU and Leucovorin followed by radiation therapy which was then followed by chemotherapy one month after the completion of radiation.
