Lung Cancer: Tarceva Shows encouraging activity Bronchoalveolar carcimoma is a subtype of non small cell lung cancer. It has two dubious distinctions. [P] 1. It responds poorly to current therapy 2. It occurs in non-smokers [P] Tarceva has demonstrated a 27% response rate in eight patients treated at MSKI. Further studies are under way, we will be reporting on their results.
