Oncology Patients Beware: A Nursing Shortage is Looming

Oncology patients often need specialized hospital care which is Administered by registered nurses, R.N.'s. Unfortunately there is a current nursing shortage and by 2020 the shortage is projected to reach 29%. Current states with the worst shortages are Arizona, Tenn., New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maine. We will be monitoring the situation and reporting back periodically on this national problem.
