Gallium Nitrate For Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Approval for the study of Gallium Nitrate in Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) patients is now before the F.D.A. This drug which is currently approved for hypercalcemia in malignant disorders has shown up to a 40% response rate in NHL patients who failed other agents. Such a response rate in this setting is very note worthy.
Pending approval by the F.D.A. clinical studies in NHL patients will be getting underway, sponsored by Genta, the company holding the rights to this drug.
We will watch developments closely and when approved (as we anticipate) we will let you know where the studies are taking place.
NetCancerAlert.Com will keep you updated on this and other vital subjects related to cancer and blood disorders.
